Rat-Tailed Miguelet Lock Brass Stocked North African Pistol

A brass stocked miguelet flintlock pistol that probably dates to the early 1800s, with an especially fine miguelet lock probably of Spanish or Italian manufacture. The barrel is also likely to be of European origin, and has several brass inlays on the barrel. The brass stock is extensively engraved. The trigger guard has been replaced with one made of a thin strip of brass. Size: 22 inches long overall, with a 13 inch barrel. Shipping: $45

Good. The lock works well. The stock has been repaired. The trigger guard is a poor replacement.
