Exceptional painting on glass of jousting knights in a tournament, entitled :The Joust." The knights are extremely well done in fine colors, the forward knight bearing the arms of France, the other knight wearing green trappings, depicting a tournament in about 1600. The piece is signed J.P. Loud, and 40 of 100. It was manufactured by Betorne, Limoges.
Size: 15 inches tall by 18 wide and 3 inches deep.
Condition:
Superb condition in an excellent gilt frame.
