Oval Framed Lithograph of Napoleon II, Prince of Parma, King of Rome
A rare and excellent lithograph printed in 1815 showing Napoleon Francois Charles Joseph Bonaparte, the only child of Napoleon and Marie Louise, Emperor and Empress of France. Napoleon II was briefly Emperor on his father's abdication in 1814. Following Waterloo he was raised in the Austrian Imperial Court until his death at age 21, supposedly from tuberculosis. The lithograph is in superb condition, and is dated 1813, by Isabey a Vienne, March 1815.
The lithograph is framed in a handsome oval gilt frame with information about the artist attached to the back.
Size: 14 1/2 by 12 1/2 inches.
