10.5” x 7” Native sons of the golden west official program and souvenir from their ninth September meeting San Francisco 1890. However, the most impressive thing arguably about this book are the color advertisements for various businesses in the San Francisco, Sacramento, Stockton, and foothill areas that include advertisements for tours of Yosemite and the Mariposa Grove sequoia big trees, Mannings restaurant and oyster grotto, beers, Southern California tours, hotel Del Monte, real estate companies, belting and twines, tailors, and many more. The advertisements are very well drawn, and of that famous turn of the century style, each of which are framable if so desired.
A very interesting advertisement is a list of breweries that currently existed in San Francisco in 1890.
