Lot of Five (5) Paul Brown Vintage Horse Books. Signed, Numbered, and 1st Ed’s. Paul Brown is known for his illustrations of polo horses in books and in etchings and drawings. ‘Spills and Thrills’ is hand signed by the author and also hand numbered ‘’647/780.’ ‘Hits and Misses’ is hand signed by the author and hand numbered ‘72 out of 950.’ ‘Buckle horse’ is a stated first edition with dust jacket. ‘ War Paint is a 1936 ‘A’ edition. ‘Ups and Downs’ is hand signed and also hand numbered ‘714’ out of 750.
Processing and shipping within the Continental US $40. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
Condition:Good Overall Condition. ‘Buckle Horse’ is very good (fine book and good dust jacket). ‘War Paint’ has original owner’s address label on the free endpaper. ‘Ups and Downs’ has some off color areas on its boards. ‘Spills and thrills’ has some cover stains and superficial splitting of back inside hinge. ‘Hits and Misses’ has some off color areas on front board.
