Large Papier Mache Dog Advertising Rev-O-Noc Dog Products, Ca. 1890

Spectacular papier mache bull dog, made by the King Cole Paper Company about 1890 to advertise Rev-O-Noc Dog Products. He is brown, wearing a gold painted collar. The words "REV-O-NOC DOG PRODUCTS" are raised on his side and painted gold. His eyes are dark brown glass. Size: 19 inches tall and 13 inches long at the base.

Condition:

The paint is faded and slightly rubbed at the shoulders and on the raised areas of his coat. Otherwise he is excellent, and truly remarkable for his age.
