Large Mahogany Secretary Cabinet w/ Double Doors Circa 1880
Large and fine secretary and display cabinet with two glass doors, and three wooden shelves, beautifully carved with grapes, vines, and with a raised top that has a turned final in the center. It is very well made, with toothed planks to support the shelves, On the lower part there is a wide drwaer the front of which can fold down to reveal a writing surface. There are two drawers inside and several cubby holes. Below that drawer are two finely carved doors that open to reveal a cabinet with a wide shelf .Circa 1880.
Size: Top is 62 inches tall by 56 inches wide and 13 inches deep, and the bottom is 36 inches tall, 54 inches wide and 19 1/2 inches deep. The cabinet has an overall height of 98 inches.
Condition:
Very good plus, or excellent construction and very sturdy. There are minor marks on the outside from normal use.
