Very nice small oil painting, landscape of country scene with trees, stream, with small herd of cows standing in the stream.
The painting is in a heavy gilt frame. There is a handwritten attribution on the back claiming that it is the work of Theodore Rousseau, well-known French artist of the Barbizon school.
Size: 15 1/2 inches tall and 13 inches wide in frame.
