Illinois Watch Co. Sangamo Special Railroad Grade Pocket Watch
Illinois Watch Co. Sangamo Special gold plated pocket watch, serial number 3353512, made in 1918, with ruby and sapphire jewels, a 48 hour motor, raised gold settings, in a gold plated open face case by the Philadelphia Watch Case Co. The case is engraved with three swooping initials that appear to be JDB. The face is decorated with gothic style Arabic numerals, a seconds dial, red five-minute numbers, and delicate blued steel hands.
