Henry Birks & Sons Canadian Gold Plated Pocket Watch
A very fine Henry Birks & Sons gold plated pocket watch, from about 1910, one of their Service Grade watches, intended to give excellent service and value. The watch is serial number 128047, and is in a gold filled case. The movement is quite likely to be by Waltham, as Birks imported most of their watch movements either from the U.S., of Europe. The watch is very handsome, with rich gold coloring on the case, and an attractive face, with Arabic numerals, a seconds dial, and Henry Birks & Sons Limited on the face. The watch is stem wind and set, and is in good working condition. Size: 1 7/8 inches in diameter.
Henry Birks established his jewelry store in Montreal in 1879. He soon partnered with his three sons, and the company is still in business to this day.
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
