Grandfather Clock w/ 2 Chimes by John Murray, London Circa 1870

Superb grandfather's clock by John Murray of Royal Exchange, London. Beautiful mahogany case with an intricately engraved heavily gold plated face with Arabic numerals, filigree hands, two sets of particularly melodious chimes, both Westminster and Whittington, a second dial, and silent or chimes setting. The case is extremely handsome, with wooden filigree work on the upper sides,an urn shaped finial at the top, and beveled glass. The clock is in good working order. Size: 95 inches tall, 22 1/2 inches wide and 15 1/2 inches deep.

Condition:

There is a minor ding to the wood in one spot on the front of the case. The clock is otherwise excellent.
