General McNarney's Award Document for the Luxembourg Order of the Oaken Crown

A very scarce award document for the Grand Cross of the Order of the Oaken Crown of Luxembourg, awarded to General Joseph T. McNarney as Commander in Chief of United States Forces in Europe, on April 4, 1946, and hand signed by Grand Duchess Charlotte of Luxembourg. The document is rolled inside a red leatherette cylindrical container. Size: the document is 14 by 9 1/2 inches. The cylindrical container is 13 by 2 inches. Provenance: Estate of General Joseph McNarney. Processing and shipping in the Continental United States is $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.

Condition:

The document is in excellent condition as rolled in its container. There are a couple of minor spots of foxing, and an ink stain on one edge. The container is excellent, with a small area where a label has been removed.
