Four Outstanding Solingen Bowie Knives & Sheaths

Beautiful and new appearing Olsen Knife Co. of Solingen larger skinner type knife with stag grips, polished aluminum pommel, and brass guard in tan leather sheath. The blade is large and deadly looking, and is near mint. Size: 14inches long with am 8 1/2 inch blade. Another large skinner style knife made by Hoffritz, New York and Solingen, also with a near mint blade, this one marked "Original Buffalo Skinner." The grip is stag, and the guard is brass, with a polished aluminum pommel. It is in a brown leather sheath with steel reinforcement at the tip. Size: 13 3/4 inches long with an 8 1/4 inch blade. Massive Solingen bowie knife by GC & Co. Solingen, with blade stamped "Bowie" at ricasso. It has z long stag grip, massive brass guard and brass pommel, and is in a heavy tan leather sheath. It is in a Western W49 sheath that is a tiny bit too short for it.Size: 15 3/4 inches long with a 10 inch blade. Solingen bowie knife with companion smaller knife mounted in the same sheath, with what is either deer or pony hide with fur on the front of the sheath. The knives are marked Rehwappen, Solingen and Made in Germany, have stag grips, brass guards, and polished aluminum pommels. Sizes: The larger knife is 13 1/3 inches long with an 8 1/4 inch blade. The smaller knife is 7 1/2 inches long with a 4 inch blade. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

The first and second knives are excellent, with nearly mint blades. The third knife is excellent plus. The fourth knife has been sharpened.
