The blade may be cut down from a larger blade, and shows signs of old grinding (15.5-inches overall with a 10.5-inches blade. A bowie type knife with stacked leather handle, rectangular steel cross guard, and long un-fullered blade with a pronounced clipped point, with excellent balance. Good. The first knife has a very worn sheath that may not be original to it. The blade is very good, but has been sharpened and shows wear.
