Condition:Good. Overall average condition of the five books is ‘Good.’ Edward Hale’s ‘Kanzas and Nebraska’ is poor/fair with the spine cover loose and missing in some areas. Stain on inside front board and free endpapers. Also water stain on inside of rear board. Text block is unaffected by the stains and the original map is present. Elizabeth Custer’s ‘boots and saddles’ is in very good condition with a ‘Merry Christmas’ gift inscription dated ‘1886’ on the free end paper.
