First American Edition, Second State "Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn" by Mark Twain. Book has printing date of 1885 New York: Charles L. Webster And Company with copyright date of 1884 by Samuel L. Clemons. Cover features green cloth with gilt and black lettering and decoration on front board and spine. This copy features the second issue point of final "5" listed in the pagination of page 155 is slightly larger than the other two numbers and first issue point of "d" in touched on page 58, line 7 from the bottom with a broken type. Book is inscribed inside cover, "To Freddie Brock from J. On Brock December 25th 1885" and on first page is stamped "Ayers Druggist Toilet Articles, Musical Instruments Main St, Santa Maria, Cal" and has the name "Tony" written in the upper right corner.

Condition:Page 339 has a 3” tear. Page 357 is united with a tape repair from top to bottom. Bumped corners and some shelf wear present to the edges of boards, and wear to top and bottom of spine. Please see photos. Inside hinges are sound with no splitting. Binding is solid and book reads confidently. Overall condition is fair, approaching good.
