Crown Shaped Cut Glass Mirror

A very interesting and attractive mirror in the shape of a British Royal crown, with a pewter orb and cross on top, and cut glass designs that display some of the details of the crown. It was made for the coronation of King George VI and his wife Elizabeth, the Queen Mother in 1937. It was made by W.S. Laurie's Glass Works in Wolverhampton. It has a label on the wooden back. Christie's sold an identical mirror in 2010 for $4,000.00. Size: 20 1/2 tall by 25 wide.
