Cream Colored Painted Toleware Document Box, 19th Century

Extremely nice cream colored painted steel toleware document box with domed lid. The exterior is cream colored overall, with a red border on the domed lid, and a basket on the front with harvest and leaves. The interior is painted black, and the box has an oval steel handle on top. The box has a latch on the front, but no corresponding loop. Size: 6 inches tall by 9 1/4 inches wide by 5 3/4 inches deep. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $50.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Condition:

Very good, but missing the loop for the latch. The paint is rubbed, particularly along the edges, and there is a small dig on the domed top.
