Colt Model 1873 Single Action First Generation Revolver .44 Caliber with 7 1/2 Inch Barrel

A Colt Single Action Revolver in .44 caliber manufactured in 1879, with a 7 1/2 inch barrel, and replaced mother-of-pearl grips, serial number51978. The gun has a smooth gray finish,and was probably nickeled, although there are only traces of nickel remaining. It has the Hartford Address, and an excellent action. Also includes colt letter. Size: 13 1/2 inches long overall with a 7 1/2 inch barrel. The numbers match other thsn the loading gate and the barrel which is not numbered. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Condition:

There is no number on the barrel, nor caliber markings. The hammer appears to be new. The grips do not fit well. The gun has a smooth gray finish with traces of nickel, especially in the cylinder. The loading gate is number 757.
