Collection of Early California Letters and Ephemera

The majority of the ephemera was written (dated) 1860’s. One letter 1849. Two military poll tax receipts 1865. One humorous, although not humorous at the time, letter from a farmer asking a neighbor to get their cow out of their field as it was destroying their hay.

Processing and shipping within the Continental US $30. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
