Cobalt Glass Stein with Secret Drawer, Pewter Lid, Base & Frames.

Extremely attractive and quite old German stein made of cobalt glass in a pewter frame, base and lid, with a secret drawer of wood on one side of the base. The pewter is heavily silver plated, and decorated grape vines and grapes, sun dials and rays, leaves, and curlicues. The secret drawer is of cedar with a pewter plate on the outside. Size: 7 inches tall and 5 inches wide at the handle.

Condition:

Generally excellent. The plate covering the secret drawer is loose, missing one of its pewter pins,
