Exceptionally fine bronze Chinese sculpture of a scholar with scroll open on his lap, riding a large koi fish. It is extremely well-patinated in a very dark color, and the koi is rising onto its front flippers.There is no signature. Size: He is 12 inches tall on the fish's back, and 16 inches long.
