Bronze Statue of William Tell & Son w/ Banner

Fine and unusual late-Victorian bronze of William Tell, holding his crossbow in one hand, and a large banner in the other, with his son by his side, holding a crossbow bolt.They are in Renaissance era garb. It is very well executed, The back is flat, meant to go up against a wall. It stands on a heavy ebony base that is not attached. No signature is visible, but it is not the more commonly seen statue of William Tell that was popular in the late 1800s. Size: 14 inches tall and11 inches wide, 6 1/2 inches thick.

Condition:

Excellent, although the crossbow bolt in the son's hand may be missing its point.
