Boch Freres Vase/Urn, Vieux Rhodes Series
Belgian Boch Freres, Vieux Rhodes series, polychrome lidded vase. It was inspired by the French town of Rhodes, which is renowned for its antique faience products. The Vieux Rhodes series was very popular in the 1920s and 1930s. It was awarded several prizes, including the gold medal at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1925. Marked underside.
