Attributed to Louis Josef Cesar Ducornet (1806-1856) Painting.

Provenance: A note verso states that this painting was purchased in Holland by Mrs. Frederic Gould more than 50 years before the 1944 dated information label. Both notes verso detail Louis Ducornet’s fame gained from his skill in painting with his feet due to being born with no arms. The painting is a copy of a Frans Hals work. The painting is unsigned.
