Astor's United States Fur Company Advertisement

A racist poster advertising John Jacob Astor's United States Fur Company, the first American monopoly. This is a small brightly colored poster probably circa 1900, depicting two racist caricatured African American men being chased by a skunk, while two white men look on. It is entitled "An Unwelcome Surprise." In a black wooden frame. Size: 25 by 17 3/4 inches. Processing and shipping in the Continental United States is $55.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.

Condition: There are some minor scratches on the frame.The poster appears to be in very good condition with minor marks along the edges.
