Assorted lot of Circa 1890 Railroad & Train Photographs

Assorted lot of railroad and train images, all larger size originals, dating from the late 1880s to the early 1900s including: Large albumen print photo of a train derailment of Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Line rail cars. There are fourteen cars visible, all freight cars, and a group of men around them (8 by 9.75 inches on card). Two different albumen photos of a derailment from 24 April 1898 of a train at "el Horno de Cuatepec a Jalapa.." One photo shows the engine and tender upside-down in a ravine. The other shows derailed cars, including a mail car, a freight car, and a flat car. Both have similar inscriptions in Spanish (6.5 by 8.5 inches). A 1902 dated albumen print photo of a derailed train, identified as "Train No, 3, Engine 205 C.M. Ry." The image shows a derailed engine, tender, and several cars in a ditch, with another engine on the tracks at the top of a small hill. It is dated Sep. 16, 1902 and is by Buttree Photo (7.5 by 14 inches). Albumen photograph of a wreck of a train coming out of a tunnel, and hit by a landslide in Colorado, on May 21, (no year) probably around 1900 (9.5 by 6.5 inches). Albumen photograph of a locomotive and tender on a trestle over a stream bed (8.75 by 10 inches). A cabinet card photo of a locomotive and tender at rest, with a man and a boy standing in front of them. There is a note on the reverse identifying this as "Uncle Irvin's Locomotive on the D& RG RR." (4.25 by 6.5 inches). Albumen print photo of two smaller cars on a siding, with men working around them (5.5 by 6.75 inches). Albumen print photo of a group of railway men standing in a caboose, with seven lanterns Circa 1900 (7.5 by 9.75 inches).
