Antique Painted Decorated Work Box

Handsome painted wooden work box with interior removable shelf and wooden dividers, and a brass faced lock, probably early 19th century. The outer surface is nicely painted with a pattern resembling marble The pieces are fastened with iron nails. Size: 6 1/4 inches tall by 14 1/2 inches wide, and 9 3/4 inches deep. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $50.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Condition:

There are two marks on the top scarring the painted surface. The box shows its age, but is in very good and solid condition. There is no key for the lock.
