Antique Brass & Iron Scale by Howe Scales
Handsome brass and iron scale by Howe Scales. The scale's body is iron with a brass flat to hold the object being weighed, and a brass graduated beam and balance. The body is marked Howe Scales 60 over Rutland, VT. The brass flat is also marked Howe, as is the beam, which is graduated out to 2 lbs. Size: 7 inches tall by 18 1/4 inches wide by 5 inches deep. There is a paper seal on the front of the base.

Condition:
Very good and in working condition. The brass flat for holding objects is slightly bent.
