A. Lietz & Co. of San Francisco surveyor's compass in a leather field case, circa 1920. The compass is marked with A, Lietz & Co. San Francisco on the face. It has a bubble level and two brass vanes. The housing appears to be aluminum. The attachment for the pole is brass. The case is heavy brown leather. Dimensions: The compass is 4.75-inches across. The leather case is 6 x 6.5 x 2-inches. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
