According to the informational sticker on the cover, this edition is one of 1000 'to combine Roald Dahl's original James and the Giant Peach with the story of the Walt Disney movie and the art of celebrated children's book illustrator Lane Smith. Each of the 1000 Limited Editions contains an individually numbered lithograph created exclusively for this edition and signed by both the artist and Disney screenwriter Karey Kirkpatrick."
