19th Century Iron Lock in the Form of a Violin, w/ Key

Antique violin shaped iron, the body decorated with engraved designs and openwork f-holes, the locking mechanism in the form of the separately-made fingerboard which slides along the J-bolt. There is a a keyhole at the center fitted with a working large iron key. The lock works. Size: 15 3/4 inches long by 11 1/2 inches wide.

Condition:

Very good and in working condition with original key. The lock has an old rust patina with a pleasing look.
