Pair of cast iron bookends depicting seated French soldiers of the Franco-Prussian War era, one a Zouave bugler wearing a turban, seated on a drum, holding a sword; the other a French soldier with rifle, also seated on a drum, wearing a kepi with Havelock, with a medal on his chest. Unsigned. Size: 10 3/4 inches tall, and 6 inches across. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $40.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
