Overview

Halliday House, the quaint little antiques shop nestled in the vineyards of the Napa Valley will be closing its doors after 30 years. The owners, Gail Laird and Sue Moodie have been regular advertisers in the Maine Antiques Digest and exhibited at shows throughout the country. The primitives, folk art and country antiques they handled looked perfect in the rural, state of the art gallery they built alongside the home of Gail and her husband. According to Gail, “Antiques are in my blood. Both my mother and grandmother were collectors. It’s been a wonderful experience. I’ve met many wonderful people and handled some important works of art. I’m gonna miss the action but it’s time for us to ease into retirement.”
